EmailA reference customer used to be one way for the buyers to judge the potential supplier, and more and more buyers are asking for it. But, things now changed.
Due to the competitive marketing status, China suppliers are quite like to provide the best services. Not just offer the best price which is a must, but also tell anything the customer requested. You will find it is quite easy to get reference information from a China supplier. I have to say this is quite appreciable and really shows the suppliers kindness. I have even recommend a buyer who want to get more confidence from the future supplier to do so and I used to very likely to provide a reference info.
Maybe that’s the reason why we have to stop this. Nowadays, more and more spam scammer knowing this and trying to make this as a business. The spam from some notorious countries in Africa has never stopped and some more places involved in. With sophisticated language skills, better understandings of China market, they are doing more harmful things to China suppliers, from free samples cheating to technique stealing. All these acts are making trust far and far from each other. More and more countries became blacklisted by the China suppliers internally. And this is not the final.
Information from different aspects including my email box shows that, reference info’s cheating is becoming a new business for the spam and scammers. They do have good experience now and the way look more trustable. Emails do look like a real one and I am sure a none-experienced salesman from China may quite like to provide what they want.
Even if the requesting is from a real customer, reference information is not a must. This is the confidential information of the supplier. So, some gentle customers do refuse to asking this information to verify the supplier, especially the directly contact info. And, yes, they do not want others know who their supplier is.
Due to all these reasons, CHS now decided not to provide any reference information to any future customers. And we will find another way to get familiar with each other.
